BCS Limited is the maker of Masterlab, a laboratory management and information
system produced for all disciplines of Pathology. Masterlab is a highly
flexible and user-parameterised pathology computer system, allowing the
user to control the required functionality. This includes such areas as
security, access privileges, user-defined request entry, user-defined report
formats, numbering systems, user defined logic based rules for authorisation
and interim reporting, user-written sub-routine and logic rules for cascade
and "if-then" scenarios to name but a few.
Modules are currently written for Clinical Chemistry, Haematology, Blood
Transfusion, Microbiology, Histology, Cytology (Cervical and Non-cervical),
Post Mortem, Immunology, Serology, Ante natal, and Virology.
