He developed his first system, LabAcquire, in 1995. LabAcquire has gone through several reengineers since that time. The current system was developed in conjunction with the staff in several hospitals in Ireland. The system is now installed in twenty sites with over 300 users. The system covers Haematology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Blood Gas, Microbiology, Histopathology, Cytology, Blood Transfusion and Post Mortems. It is configurable to allow clients switch certain disciplines on or off depending on needs. Custom Software provides cutting edge software that can be customised to meet customer needs. Custom Software Ltd allows all users to benefit from requested updates. This means a system that is always updating with new functions. The updates can be taken as they come on line or in an ordered manner such as a monthly, quarterly or half yearly fashion.
