Founded in 1965, Keane is a leading provider of healthcare infomation systems.
The company provides a Laboratory Informaiton System (LIS) called LabFUSION
to the healthcare marketplace. LabFUSION is designed to manage specimen
data from requisition to final patient report. It may be integrated with
the Keane Hospital Information System (HIS) or installed as a standalone
system. 4GL technology and a UNIX-based system are utilized to provide reports,
quality assurance, and a variety of user-defined features such as tests,
panels and profiles. Full information system support for activities in chemistry,
hematology, coagulation, serology, urinalaysis, administration and laboratory
management are provided. Microbiology, cytology, pathology, and blood bank
modules are also available.
