Multidata Computer Systems offers a Laboratory Information System (LIS)
for clinical and hospital laboratories. MultiTech, their flagship LIS product,
was first installed in 1983. It is available on many hardware platforms,
and provides flexible accessioning, bar-coding, worksheet and specimen handling
management. Electronic claims submission and remittance processing for
all
payers is also available, as well as complete billing, accounts receivable,
and management reporting designed for commercial labs. A stand-alone billing
capability enables interface to other lab systems. ASTM interchange for
clinical and billing data is also available as well as common proprietary
formats.
