Agilent Technologies, a spin-off from Hewlett-Packard Corporation, is a leading global manufacturer of computing, communications and measurement products and services recognized for excellence in quality and support. Agilent is a world leader in analytical instrumentation and data handling.

Agilent's product offerings in the LIMS agena used to include ChemServer, a LAN-based high-performance chromatography data server that features chromatographic instrument control and comprehensive data processing in a regulatory compliant environment; and ChemLMS LIMS. ChemLMS LIMS is not offered as a commercial LIMS product at this time, but as a customizable solution for large-scale operations only.

Currently Agilent is focused on Networked Data Systems (NDS) solutions comprised of their Cerity NDS family based on industry standards, such as Windows NT, and object-related database management systems.

There are two offerings in the Cerity NDS family: Cerity Networked Data System for Pharmaceutical QA/QC and Cerity Networked Data System for Clinical Applications. The Cerity NDS for Clinical Applications is designed for laboratories involved in clinical analysis. The Cerity NDS for Pharmaceutical QA/QC is designed for laboratory personnel involved in routine quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) testing in the pharmaceutical industry where procedures and documentation must be followed according to the requirements of GLP, cGMP, GAMP, ISO 17025, and other regulations and quality standards.
