Cyonix supplies a product called LPIMS (Lab Process Information Management
System), which is designed for laboratories servicing processes in manufacturing
plants. LPIMS requires Oracle 7 or 8, and is fully client/server multi-user.
Features include process charts, autoauthorisation, range checking, extensive
user customisability, process system interoperability, crisp response, etc.
in an extremely easy to use package. The company considers it a lab workflow
system with a LIMS built in. The LPIMS midrange version is available free,
but there are conditions.
