Eclipse Technical Software Service provides an integrated solution to laboratory
automation for the rubber industry. The Eclipse solution is comprised of
six programs: COMPOUND, a flexible recipe management system that greatly
simplifies the development of new recipes; DAISY, a data acquisition system
that collects and evaluates test data from instruments or by manual input;
MAISY, a data acquisition system that collects and analyses data from mixing
and processing equipment; LABFILER, a program for freely definable customer
reports and for general database maintenance; CAD / CHEM, which uses Neural
Network technology to build a model of your recipes and their characteristics.
CAD/Chem can propose the formulation for wanted properties; and, PROCESS
ADVISOR. Using Neural Network Technolgy to build a model of your process,
Process Advisor can adjust the process setpoints on-line to optimise towards
product properties.
