FlexSystems LLC provides flexible data collection systems for Security Guard Tour, Facilities Management, Fire Extinguisher Inspection, and Fire Safety, as well as a wide range of other applications.

Of particular interest to LIMS users is their FlexOps solution, a PDA based electronic data collection system which replaces both “Operational and LIMS” paper based data recording. Utilizing PDA-based systems, plant operators download data provided by PerkinElmer's LABWORKS LIMS into FlexOps when then electronically verifies the location and sample bottle to ensure that correct chain of custody protocols are followed. All transactions are date/time/operator stamped. FlexOps provides easy addition of standardized activities, incidents or free format notes. On completion of a route, the data is downloaded to a PC. FlexOps provides for automated or manual data export of LIMS data. Data imports are updated as required via LABWORKS PDET files input mechanism.

FlexSystems' Guard Tour solutions have PDA-based operating systems that address a wide variety of applications, including Chain of Custody - Wastewater; Proof of Inspection - Fire Extinguisher Inspection; and Chain of Evidence - Guard Tour.

Their FlexOps portable data collection system includes:
- FlexPatrol, a handheld data capture system for Security Guard Tour, Facility Maintenance and Compliance applications.
 - FlexTour, a guard tour data capture system utilizing Palm or Win CE systems that ensures guard tour to proof of inspection activities are compliant with OSHA, NFPA, and other regulations.
