In LIMS segment, Chemtech acts in two types of projects:

1. Consulting for definition of functional requirements.  In this type of project, Chemtech uses its expertise in manufacturing and process industries and laboratory environments in order to help the customer to define what is the best product available in the global market for that specific application. This kind of analysis naturally takes into account both technical and financial aspects.

2. Once the product is selected, Chemtech takes part in LIMS implementation in order to translate the functional requirements into specification design, also acting as partner in development of the most important LIMS companies.  Apart from Chemtech know-how in process industries and laboratories, the presence of a local consulting company in LIMS project is especially important for project success due to the language that has to be used in final requirements, training, documents, and screens (Portuguese or Spanish).
