Caliber Technologies is a technology driven company with expertise in information technology, biotechnology, and chemical technology. Their Information Technology (IT) division has developed a LIMS for pharmaceutical and biotech applications called CaliberLIMS.

CaliberLIMS is a set of integrated software modules designed to simplify laboratory workflow tasks from sample login through data reporting. The range of configurable and scalable modules allows CaliberLIMS to accommodate any size lab. A thorough audit trail capability is provided to fulfill quality system requirements. Caliber LIMS uses n-tier, data-driven architecture suitable to any type of network, including LAN, WAN, intranet and Internet.

Add-on modules include an Instrument Management module that can track assets, service logs, calibration inventory, and validation documents, and a Stability module that tracks conditions, cycles, and sample drawing alerts, while providing stability study reports with graphical reports.

Caliber LIMS is available in three configurations: CaliberLIMS lite (a basic model to automate the workflow and result calculation); Caliber LIMS pro (a fully loaded web-based solution that utilizes Access, SQL, or Oracle database technology and includes both the Stability and Instrument Management modules); and, Caliber LIMS CS (a client/server model with options for various modules).
