Element DataSystem is an Environmental LIMS developed by Promium, specifically for the needs of commercial testing laboratories. Approximately 3000 chemists use Element DataSystem to manage their labs in the Environmental, Water, Radio Chemistry, Petroleum and Physical Testing industries as well as for many other applications.

Fully Windows and Web enabled, built using modern Windows-based programs such as Microsoft Visual Basic, Element DataSystem is a LIMS program that provides an array of information tools for better management of laboratory operations, quality assurance, customer accounts, and business processes. Element DataSystem runs on 32-bit Windows platforms (Windows 95, 98, NT4, 2000 Professional or XP) and utilizes OLE-DB technology to seamlessly work with Oracle, SQL Server, or Access databases.

New and updated print formats, instrument interfaces, and EDDs are frequently added to the system via component updates that are available to all users via the update web site. Users can also develop their own custom reports and EDD formats using Crystal Reports, Excel, Access, and other development tools.
