dialog EDV develops and markets the diaLIMS LIMS solution for use in quality,
research and development, and environmental laboratories. The first version
of diaLIMS was issued in 1991 and supported a graphical user interface (GUI).
Version 2.0 was created using object oriented development tools, making
it easily adaptable to different user needs. diaLIMS Version 3.0, Java edition,
was introduced in 1999 and takes advanteage of the client/server environment,
utilizing an operating system independent of the client, enabling the client
to be used on any operating system, from Windows to Unix. diaLIMS can be
installed as a standalone system or in a multi-user client/server solution.
