InnaPhase provides enterprise technology solutions that automate key steps in
the early drug development process. An end-to-end solution, InnaPhase's technology
enables scientists to share information rapidly and transform research data
into enterprise-wide knowledge. As a result, scientists can maximize investment
in lead candidates and accelerate drug development.
InnaPhase acquired the domestic assets of Beckman Coulter's Laboratory Automation
Operation (LAO) in June 2003. Beckman Coulter's Laboratory Automation Operation
designs, sells and services LIMS primarily for pharmaceutical quality control
environments, and includes LabManager C/S LIMS, LabManager iLIMS, QuickStart
LIMS and the Pinnacle Chromatography Data System. LabManager iLIMS is a LIMS
with a web browser user interface. As a native Oracle8 application, LabManager
iLIMS provides comprehensive sample, test, and data management on a Windows
NT or HP9000 server. The system offers a complete Intel-based solution, fully
scalable from the desktop to the enterprise.
In 2000, InnaPhase acquired Pharmaceutical Software Systems, Inc. to expand
their service offerings and product lines. Their products include Pharma LIMS,
the Enterprise Pharmacology Series, Watson LIMS, and Kinetica 2000.
Their newest product is Pharma LIMS, a suite of LIMS solutions designed to operate
in a 21 CFR Part 11 compliant environment. The Pharma LIMS suite includes: Galileo
LIMS for permeability, metabolism and enzyme inhibition, Watson LIMS for pre-clinical
and clinical bioanalysis, and Newton LIMS for batch release, quality control,
formulation, stability and analytical development.
The Enterprise Pharmacology Series (EP Series) is a commercially available database
system for centralized GLP-compliant management, analysis, simulation and reporting
of PK/PD data in drug development. The EP Series enables research organizations
to streamline data handling and integrate information into enterprise-wide knowledge.
The Watson LIMS is specifically designed to support DMPK/Bioanalytical studies
in drug development. Watson was developed in conjunction with many major pharmaceutical
companies to accelerate bioanalysis and sample management in drug development.
Watson is a comprehensive system for managing drug study information. It supports
the entire drug study process, including study design, assay design, sample
handling, bar-coding, shipment tracking, analytical run planning, instrument
interfaces, regression of standards, analytical performance reports, GLP evaluation,
table and graph summary of sample results, PK calculations and interfaces to
word processing software. Within Watson, there are interfaces to handle the
following types of instruments and their related assays: LC/GC, HPLC, GCMS,
RIA, and ELISA.
Kinetica 2000 is a powerful, industry-standard PK/PD application for data analysis,
simulation and reporting. With an intuitive point-and-click graphical interface,
Kinetica 2000 facilitates data analysis and reporting in a flexible, easy-to-learn
environment.
