Interface Engineering is a leading company in laboratory information management and laboratory automation. The company was founded in 1991 to "interface" chemistry and computation by providing laboratory focused LIMS and Laboratory Automation Systems.

Since 1992, they have been an authorized Korean distributor of Hewlett Packard's Liquid Phase Analytical Instruments such as HPLC, Capillary Electrophoresis etc..

They developed and implemented the first Korean LIMS as well as the first Korean chromatography data and system control station named ChroMate.

Their LIMS solutions include PharmMate for the pharmaceutical QA/QC lab; ApiMate LIMS for agricultural product safety inspection; and e-PheiMate LIMS for public health and environmental inspection.

In September 2000, Interface launched two daughter companies: Interface InfoTech which focuses on LIMS, Bioinformatics and related information management systems; and Interface BioTech which focuses on Laboratory Automation Systems.
