SAME is a n independent mid-sized software development company with a Labs Division that specializes in development and service of software solutions for laboratories. The Labs Division develops LIMS applications (LIMS 2000 and LIMS 2000 iCC ) that utilize client/server architecture and a graphical user interface.

LIMS 2000 is the company's flagship LIMS solution, and is focused on official and private analytical laboratories subject to EN 45001 or ISO 17025 compliance. LIMS 2000 features include analysis billing, reagents, preparations and materials management, equipment calibration/verification/technical assistance operations management and laboratory personnel dossiers management.

OraLIMS 2000i is an Intranet / Internet enabled LIMS that is 100 percent developed on Oracle and focused on public and private analytical laboratories compliant with ISO 17025. The system integrates modules for automated support to the implementation and maintenance of the laboratory's quality system, including personnel records, laboratory warehouse, laboratory preparations, laboratory equipment (calibration, maintenance, breakdowns and reparations), as well as integrated modules for invoicing and accounting data export.

LIMS 2000 iCC is an Intranet / Internet enabled LIMS focused on R&D and QC labs compliant with GALP, cGMP and 21CFR11 requirements. This LIMS includes ERP-MRP integration, QC Manager, Manufacturing Manager, and Suppliers Control and Costing management modules. LIMS 2000 iCC MF is a version that integrates several factories into one centralised database using Citrix technology and / or Internet for remote user access.

CALIBRA 2002 is a new web-based LIMS concept that is focused on Research and Testing Metrological laboratories compliant with ISO 17025. It is designed for the management of calibration, maintenance, and reparation operations of customer equipment, integrating the whole set of complex relations and communications that a metrological lab manages with their customers and with other laboratories.

Features that support the above concepts include open software, graphical user interfaces, multilanguage solutions, and customizable terminology in accordance with client requirements.

The Labs Division provides full implementation services including hardware and telecommunications installation, tailoring the LIMS to meet customer requirements, complete configuration and validation of customer analytical specifications and on-site software verification, user training, and user online support.
