SYSWARE offers SYSWARE LIS and PowerLab. The company is particularly focused
on laboratories performing clinical, pathology and veterinary applications.
SYSWARE LIS is a DOS-based LIMS. PowerLab is a 32-bit Windows-based LIMS
that operates in Windows 3.1, 95 and NT, as well as the OS/2 Warp environments.
PowerLab supports open architecture with database and platform independence,
and is capable of supporting sample handling requirements from a few hundred
specimens per day to thousands. Updates are free to all clients. Currently,
Powerlab is being enhanced with Transplant Information System to support
laboratories performing HLA tissue typing and DNA research. Several other
capabilities, including QC/QA, Epidemiology Reports and Standing Orders,
are also available.
