Advanced Technology Corporation was formed in 1984 as a software development company. Since 1989, the company has specialized in veterinary and LIMS software and produces a range of products, including Food Analytical Safety Tracking (FAST); Vetstar Comparative Medicine (VCM); Vetstar Animal Disease Diagnostic System (VADDS); and Vetstar Hospital Management System. V-LIMS is a 4GL client/server LIMS in use at various animal diagnostics laboratories and educational institutions throughout North America. It is an advanced LIMS for HACCP microbial identification and record keeping. As such, V-LIMS is particularly suited for food and agricultural labs, and uses true taxonomy classification.
